How the calculation works
  • Concentration (mg / mL) = vial quantity (mg) ÷ liquid added (mL)
  • Concentration (mcg / mL) = (vial quantity (mg) × 1000) ÷ liquid added (mL)
  • Liquid volume (mL) = selected research quantity (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg / mL)
  • Calculated measurement (units) = liquid volume (mL) × 100 (units per mL on a U-100 scale)
  • Quantity per unit (mcg) = concentration (mcg / mL) ÷ 100
  • Equal measurements = (vial quantity (mg) × 1000) ÷ selected research quantity (mcg)
