Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), developed as a defined analogue of epithalamin, a pineal gland extract characterised in Russian gerontological research. Supplied lyophilised for in-vitro and laboratory research.
It appears in the published literature principally within cell-culture studies of telomerase activity and in animal-model work on pineal and circadian signalling. Much of this literature originates from a single research group and has seen limited independent replication — a point we think worth stating plainly.
